For this particular project George,Pervez and i worked together. The theme was "South India " and the restaurant was to be a gallery of contemporary art. After long discussions of what "contemporary" art is and using google as a threat we satisfied the emperor.

http://www.pervezdesigns.com/I mostly contributed with photography,running around for production, making a south indian temple influenced coconut pillar with rajasthani craftsmen and these yakshagana masks of Vali, with tamil craftsmen. We first wanted to fill up a wall with a million kathakali masks but Vali proved to be more interesting and realistic. I had also come up with a metal Boat skeleton buffet table - an idea that i am particularly proud of but Alas! it was not used.... *sigh*
